CSB Closing Early on Thursday, April 25th, 2024 for Staff Training

Many years ago, I learned about Cops N' Kids Reading Center in Racine because they were doing a book give away over the holidays. I took my god-daughter to the event and was shocked to see so many books in this huge warehouse. What struck me most were all the excited children with smiles on their faces while they carefully chose their new books.
Cops N' Kids Reading Center is a wonderful organization that has been in my community for many years and is now a world wide mission. It is ran by one of the best women in our community, Julie Witherspoon! I am in awe of the tireless work Julia does for our community and beyond. She's dedicated to the children of this community and bringing local law enforcement and the community together. For this reason I'm happy to announce that myself and 7 other individuals chose Cops N' Kids Reading Center as our 2021 #Gift2Giving donation. In addition we also had another staff member make a personal donation and CSB matched that donation for a grand total of $860 donated to the center!
