BURLINGTON — Nearly 400 people gathered at Fischer Park on Browns Lake on Thursday, August 7, for Community State Bank’s annual Dinner on the Dock. The evening featured family fun, delicious food truck options, and impressive performances by the Browns Lake Aquaducks Water-ski Show Team.
The Aquaducks juniors kicked things off at 5 p.m., followed by the main show at 6:30 p.m. This year’s “Disney Villains” theme brought big energy to the lake, with skiers dressed as characters like Ursula and Maleficent performing everything from two-ski lines to daring jumps and multi-tier pyramids.
Five food trucks, All About Tacos, Hawgz Dogs, Mr. P’s Grilled Cheese, Pine Acres, Streetza Pizza, and The Runaway Micropub and Nanobrewery, kept guests full throughout the evening. Families spread out along the shoreline to enjoy dinner while watching the shows. Aquaducks concessions and team apparel were also available.
For Community State Bank, the evening was about more than food and entertainment. “Dinner on the Dock is one of our favorite traditions because it brings people together to celebrate what makes Burlington special,” said Dave Schalk, VP | Market President at CSB. “The Aquaducks are a point of pride for our community, and supporting them is a privilege.”
