100 Women Who Care – Western Racine County Preparing for ‘Incredible Night’

annual event has raised nearly $22,000

WATERFORD – One can only imagine what happens when 100 women fueled on empowerment, kindness and cocktails gather in a single room.

“An incredible night,” Community State Bank’s Molly Krause said. “It might get a little loud. It might even get a little emotional. But in the end, it’s always a night to remember.”

The fourth annual 100 Women Who Care – Western Racine County is set for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26 at Community State Bank in Waterford. The event is sponsored by Community State Bank.

The Waterford Community State Bank is located at 500 E. Main Street, Suite No. 100.

Online registration is available by clicking HERE

100 Women Who Care – Western Racine County supports nonprofits serving Western Racine County. Each attendee brings $100 ($50 for women under 30). The total funds are distributed to one charitable cause that evening.

In four years, the event has raised nearly $22,000. Past recipients include Health Care Network (2022), Transitional Living Center (2023), Matthias Academy (2023) and Shepherds College (2024).

Once nominees are narrowed to three, a representative from each of the finalists gets the opportunity to briefly share more about the organization.

A final vote determines the 2025 recipient.

“It’s always exciting to see who wins,” Krause said. “This isn’t an event where you’re sitting down for a long dinner with long speeches. We keep it uplifting. It’s a short, impactful event. We raised over $7,000 in two hours last year.”

Here is a closer look at how the event works:

Step 1: Please register for the event using the link above.

Step 2: Bring a blank check or cash in the amount of $100 ($50 if you are under 30) to enter the event.

Step 3: Nominate a non-profit organization using this form or complete a paper entry on the day of the event. (See criteria below).

Step 4: At the event, we'll choose three non-profit organizations at random. Those three nominators (or someone on their behalf) will be asked to share why they chose the non-profit organization in 3-5 minutes.

Step 5: Following the presentations, each group member will submit their vote and then we'll then celebrate a winner!
