UNION GROVE — Community State Bank is pleased to announce its third annual LEAD Scholarship Awards, presented to Walworth County Fair exhibitors who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to service and leadership in their communities.
The awards are based on CSB’s principles of Leadership, Expectation, Achievement and Dedication (LEAD). Applicants are assessed by their commitment to community involvement, future aspirations, fair participation and lifelong learning.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Applicants must be a 2025 registered exhibitor at the Walworth County Fair.
Applicants must be Class of 2026 high school seniors or post-secondary education students (university, college, technical) enrolled in the 2025-26 academic school year.
HOW TO APPLY
Applicants must provide a written essay (500 words or less) or video (3 minutes or less) highlighting one of the four LEAD principles and how it impacts their involvement in the Walworth County Fair. The deadline is September 14, 2025.

LEAD principles include:
- LEADERSHIP — How are you involved in your community? Explain community involvement and work history.
- EXPECTATION — What expectations have you set for your future? How do you anticipate making a difference in your community in the future?
- ACHIEVEMENT — Explain your fair achievements and your involvement in the Walworth County Fair. What will you be showing this year and why do you love being involved in the fair?
- DEDICATION — How are you dedicated to lifelong learning? Explain further education and reason for chosen major.

Eight area students were honored as CSB’s 2024 Lead Scholarship Awards recipients. Last year’s winners included Amanda Bender of Walworth County, Kamryn Domino of Lake Geneva, Kyle Ellsworth of Elkhorn, Grace Giving of Genoa City, Nathan Huff of Delavan, Ben Reed of Delavan, Landon Rehberg of Elkhorn and Lucy Stinebrink of Lake Geneva.
