community banking comes natural to csb's Bryan Iwicki
LAKE GENEVA – Bryan Iwicki has taken on many new responsibilities as Community State Bank’s Lake Geneva VP/Market President.
Personal greeter is a role he’s quickly embraced.
Positioned right in the Lake Geneva lobby, Iwicki gets a steady dose of visitors from a faithful group of CSB customers who often enjoy sharing their day.
“Instead of being in the back of the office, I’m right in front now,” Iwicki said. “And we have a lot of regulars here … a lot of them.”
Iwicki is replacing longtime Lake Geneva Market President Michael Ploch, who is retiring at the end of 2024 following a successful 45-year career in banking.
Ploch has served in his current role since 2015.
“It has been my pleasure to serve our customers these past years and I have enjoyed the relationships we have built,” Ploch said. “I have all the confidence in Bryan’s abilities to lead our market and continue our success.”
Iwicki is an active member of the community himself, taking on leadership roles with the Lake Geneva Jaycees and the Rotary Club of Elkhorn.
The Walworth County native graduated from Lake Geneva Badger in 2004 and earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2008.
The 39-year-old spent years as a credit analyst and commercial lender before returning home to Lake Geneva as VP/Business Banking at Community State Bank.
“I love it here,” Iwicki said. “My kids go to school here. I see people I’ve known my whole life. I’m a community banker at heart, completely.”
And for those visiting the CSB Lake Geneva branch, be sure to stop into Iwicki’s office to say “hello.”
“I’m just happy to be a part of this community,” Iwicki said. “This is where I want to be.”
