Hometown Banker Named CSB Market President in Kenosha-Racine

CSB Announces Promotions, Revamped Cash Management Division

UNION GROVE — Community State Bank is excited to announce a series of promotions — placing experienced bankers into positions of strength and leadership — as a continuous commitment to the communities, employees and customers it serves.

Kenosha native Laura Burnett Shoemaker has been promoted to VP | Market President (Kenosha-Racine). Shoemaker has over 30 years experience in banking, spending the past seven years in CSB’s Cash Management department.

“I’m excited for this new role and honored the bank has placed its trust in me,” Shoemaker said. “We have a strong team and I look forward to continuing to work together with them to support the individuals and businesses in our community.”

Shoemaker serves as market president for both Kenosha County branches, located at 8304 75th St., Suite #100 in Kenosha and 25360 75th St., in Paddock Lake and Mount Pleasant, 8930 Washington Ave. She will continue her Cash Management roles in Kenosha and Racine.

“Laura’s leadership skills and customer service skills are second to none,” CSB President Bob Findysz said. “She is the ultimate team player and will continue to be a great representative of our bank.”

Shoemaker, a Tremper High School graduate, prioritizes community involvement with leadership roles for numerous area nonprofits.

“It’s a pleasure to be able to serve the community where I grew up and give back to those who live and work here,” said Shoemaker, who reports to EVP | Chief Lending Officer Robert Pieroni.

Shoemaker works closely with CSB VP | Cash Management Molly Krause. Included in the promotions, Krause steps into a new position as VP | Cash Management Manager.

CSB Cash Management is responsible for making sure its business customer funds are safe and efficient, putting local businesses in positions of success.

“We have a lot of small business owners that wear many hats,” Krause said. “When a problem comes up, we’re there to solve it so it doesn’t affect their business.”

Krause has over 30 years experience in the banking industry. She joined CSB in 2011.

“Over the past 14 years, Molly has done so much for our bank and in the development of our Cash Management department,” Findysz said. “I’ve made several customer visits with Molly and one thing is very clear to me, our customers love Molly as much as we do.”

CSB Assistant Retail Manager Kristy Ellis moves into a new role as a Cash Management Support Specialist. She will work closely with Krause in a revamped Cash Management division.

Ellis will support the team with day-to-day cash management activities and play a key role in continuing exceptional service to CSB customers.

“Adding Kristy to Cash Management is going to be a good focus,” Krause said. “I’m also super excited for Laura. She’s such a polished banker and is so involved in the community. There’s a lot of really good things happening here at Community State Bank.”
