A Donation to Support Local Children Experiencing Abuse or Neglect
A Journal Entry by Kristi Koehn, CSB Loan Specialist
For this year’s #Gift2Giving donation I chose Guardians of the Children – Belle City Chapter (GOC). Since finding out about the GOC last year, I continue to be impressed by their selfless efforts to support abused and neglected children in our area. I’ve had the pleasure of attending a few of their community events, including Boo at the Zoo and a fundraiser car show.
This is the second year I have lead this donation and I am thankful for the 14 other employees who joined me! The donation funds provided by CSB will help assure the Little Guardians, or kids, have a special holiday like every child deserves.
In addition, Guardians of the Children promotes awareness of abuse and neglect, and educates the public what steps can be taken if you suspect a child needs help. The GOC lives by the phrase “Don’t let your silence drown out their cries.” Please visit www.bellecitygoc.com and get involved in this great cause. Thank you GOC for all that you do!
