DW Coffee at the Bank

Former Community State Bank Rochester Location Transforming into a Community Coffee House

ROCHESTER, WI – What once was known as the Community State Bank Rochester location (201 West Main Street) will soon become a coffee house. Community State Bank along with new owners, Jane and Bob Willard worked together to ensure the historic building would be used as something that could benefit the community as a whole.

“Rochester is such a neat community that’s filled with history,” said Community State Bank President and CEO, Scott Huedepohl. “While this location was not suitable for our needs, it is a historic piece of the community and we recognize that. Our priority while selling was to ensure it would go to an owner that appreciates it’s uniqueness and would create a place for the whole community to enjoy.”

The Willards have chosen Chef Jaclyn of Wholesome Harvest and DW Coffee as the lead operators of the future coffee house, which will be called DW Coffee at the Bank. Items that will be for sale include specialty coffee beverages, grab-and-go soups, sandwiches, salads, baked goods and catering options for parties or families. All items will be made with seasonal ingredients grown by local farmers.

“Both Chef Jaclyn Trimble and DW Coffee are looking forward to taking an active part in the community while providing wonderful food and drink,” explained Jane. “We’re all excited to welcome the community to the coffee house and cannot wait to release more exciting details soon.”

“We felt that a coffee house would compliment the other businesses in Downtown Rochester,” continued Bob. “Businesses that are vital, varied and interesting.”

The Willards hope to have DW Coffee at the Bank open mid-July 2021. Remodeling and construction of the building is being managed by PSG and officially began at the start of 2021. More details and the full story will be released closer to the opening date. For updates on this project, please visit Wholesome Harvest’s Facebook Page: Facebook.com/WHMWI
