Csb Seeks Market Opportunity In Northern Illinois and Hires Timothy O’Brien

NORTHERN ILLINOIS - Community State Bank (CSB) is pleased to announce the addition of Timothy O’Brien, Vice President - Business Banking, to lead and grow CSB’s presence in the Northern Illinois market.

O’Brien, a long-time resident and banker in Illinois, brings to CSB nearly four decades of banking experience in commercial lending and senior management. His key responsibility at CSB will be to build new relationships in Northern Illinois and Southeast Wisconsin through a hybrid banking model, known as CSB Team Banking.

“The CSB Team Banking concept provides a personal partnership with the local banker without a traditional branch structure,” said CSB Executive Vice President - Business Banking, Steve Donovan. “We realize that people bank with people, not buildings. Our goal is to provide opportunity to business leaders in the Illinois market through local expertise and unique banking solutions.”

Community State Bank, a $631 million locally owned and operated community bank, is headquartered in Union Grove, WI and has served the communities of Southeastern WI since 1898. The Northern Illinois market is a new opportunity for the bank. A full suite of CSB Business Banking Solutions will be available through O’Brien including: lending and credit services, business leasing options, checking and savings accounts, and Cash Management services such as online banking, mobile banking, bill pay, ACH origination, and remote deposit capture.

“Community State Bank understands that business owners want to keep their investments in their community,” said O’Brien. “CSB provides local servicing and solutions through individuals who love the same communities you do. That’s why I chose to work at Community State Bank and I believe that’s why others will choose CSB as their future banking partner.”

O’Brien officially started in his position at Community State Bank at the beginning of 2023. Customers that are interested in learning more, can contact O’Brien directly using the contact information below.
