CSB Hosts Frank Lamping Community Service Award Ceremony

Chaos Coordinator: Preston Honored for Commitment to Community

UNION GROVE — Union Grove native Carolyn Preston was presented as this year's recipient of the Frank Lamping Community Service Award on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025 at Community State Bank, 1500 Main Street.

Preston is co-owner of the Union Grove Piggly Wiggly and a longtime community advocate, often operating under the radar while providing a helping hand to those in need.

Community State Bank created the annual Frank Lamping Community Service Award. Recipients are chosen by a committee of local community leaders.

Each year’s recipient receives $1,000 to donate to a local nonprofit or service organization. Russ Eichner of Transcend Advisory Group matched this year’s $1,000 donation.
