Burlington Promotion

Becky McClelland Promoted to Burlington Market President

Community State Bank (CSB) is pleased to announce the promotion of Becky McClelland to Burlington Market President. 

McClelland joined CSB in 2015 and has worked in the Burlington Market for over two years. She carries with her over a decade of banking experience and a wide range of financial knowledge in small business lending, commercial lending, retail management and operations. 

“CSB has been in Racine County for 122 years.  We are positioning ourselves to stay in this game for the long haul.  Becky is a perfect example of someone who can help us do that.  She’s knowledgeable, dedicated and works hard for her customers,” said CSB President and CEO, Scott Huedepohl. 

McClelland’s primary responsibility as a Market President will be working with Burlington businesses, non-profits and municipalities to help promote community growth and meet their unique business needs. She’ll also focus on strengthening community partnerships, in addition to highlighting the advantages of working with a community bank.

“Becky has done a phenomenal job of leading and growing the Burlington market,” said Steve Donovan, CSB Executive Vice President. “Her commitment to her customers is genuine and I know she will do a great job as Market President.”  

In 2020, McClelland was one of the key players in driving the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) at Community State Bank. Among many other areas of business banking, she is an expert in small business solutions including the various SBA lending programs. 

In addition to McClelland’s banking career, she also serves as a Director on the Burlington Chamber of Commerce Board and donates her time towards local events such as Chocolatefest and Dinner on the Dock, a food truck event developed by CSB and the Burlington Aquaducks. 

“I’m honored to take on this role and am eager to see what 2021 has in store for our team and community,” said McClelland. “My goal as your banker is to be a consistent guide and partner to local business owners no matter what the year may bring. Our banking team is here to support your financial goals.” 

McClelland’s promotion will take effect immediately and she can be reached by appointment at Community State Bank’s Burlington office located at 308 Bridge Street.
