Community State Bank Announces 2020 Promotions

Community State Bank (CSB) is pleased to announce the promotion of five employees: Steve Donovan (Executive Vice President | Business Banking), Jackie Kolbeck (Assistant Vice President | Loan Processing), Mandi Maas (Kenosha Retail Manager), Kris Mertins-Elliott (Assistant Vice President | Enterprise Risk Management Officer) and Katie Stolp (Assistant Vice President | Retail Operations).

Steve Donovan joined CSB in 2017 as a Senior Vice President and Market President. He now moves into the role of Executive Vice President | Business Banking. Steve will continue his duties as Market President in addition to overseeing all business banking initiatives.

Jackie Kolbeck, also a member of the business banking operations team, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President | Loan Processing. Jackie joined CSB in 2017 and transitioned into a managerial role within the loan processing department.

“For the past two years, Steve has done a phenomenal job of implementing new business banking practices that make our departments run more efficiently,” said bank President & CEO Scott Huedepohl. “Jackie and Steve have worked hand in hand on implementing many of these new processes, and we’ve seen a significant difference. I’m excited to see the benefits they will continue to bring to the bank.”

Other promotions include Mandi Maas who joined CSB mid 2019. Maas will now begin a new role as the Retail Manager of Community State Bank’s upcoming location in Kenosha. The new office, currently under construction, is located on Hwy 50 and is set to open this spring.

“It’s really important for us to have the right people at our new Kenosha office,” said Kenosha Market President, Robert Pieroni. “Mandi is going to be a great addition. She leads with positivity, and I know she will provide the best service to our customers in the Kenosha market.”

Two additional promotions in CSB’s operational departments include Kris Mertins-Elliott to Assistant Vice President | Enterprise Risk Management Officer and Katie Stolp to Assistant Vice President | Director of Retail Operations.

Mertins-Elliott joined CSB in 1996 and has played an instrumental role in compliance and risk management at CSB. Stolp joined CSB in 2010 and has been a key player in implementing new programs and tools to help retail operations at the bank run smoothly and efficiently.

“I’m proud of each one of these individuals,” said Huedepohl. “They have gone above and beyond to improve our core systems, business banking initiatives and bank overall. We’re very fortunate to have them on our team, and I congratulate them on their accomplishments.”
