Community State Bank Set to Host Next 100 Women Who Care - Western Racine County Event in October 2023
Community State Bank (CSB) is excited to announce the return of 100 Women Who Care - Western Racine County on Wednesday, October 4th from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at 1841 Farms and Vineyard in Burlington, Wisconsin. What started as an annual meeting in 2022, has grown into a bi-annual meeting. This will be the third event hosted and organized by CSB.
100 Women Who Care is a nationwide initiative that provides women with the opportunity to support non-profit organizations in their community. Each guest is asked to bring $100 in the form of a blank check or cash in order to enter the event. Guests are then encouraged to nominate a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves Western Racine County. The group then votes and chooses a recipient to receive all of the event funds.
“We’re growing,” said CSB Media and Communications Director and 100 Women Committee Member, Eloissa Heigl. “Each time we have an event, we grow a little more. The word is spreading and it’s so exciting to see the overflowing kindness and support from women of Western Racine.”
Since the initiative began, over $9,300 has been raised to support local non-profit organizations. Previous recipients include Burlington Transitional Living Center and Healthcare Network of Racine.
Nominated non-profit organizations must meet certain criteria in order to be considered. The organization must serve the communities of Western Racine County, be a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, not affiliated or tied to any specific political viewpoint, and must not be a recipient in the past 12 months. Nominators are also required to be prepared to present why they have chosen their nominee in less than 5 minutes on the day of the event.
“This event was created to make a large impact in a short amount of time,” said CSB Assistant Vice President and 100 Women Committee Member, Molly Krause. “We hope those that have attended in the past, return and those that haven’t yet experienced 100 Women, join us. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet others in your community, while also giving back.”
Online registration for the event is now open. Registration is preferred, but not required. The event is open to the public. For additional event details, please visit our 100 Women Who Care page.
