#Gift2Giving Returns for 6th Year

Community State Bank’s Annual Giving Campaign To Support Local Non-Profits Returns for 6th Year

Community State Bank (CSB) is excited to announce the return of their 6th annual employee driven donation campaign, #Gift2Giving. Each CSB employee was presented with $150 from the bank to donate back to local non-profit organizations in Racine, Kenosha, or Walworth counties.

“Our staff gets really excited about this campaign every year,” said CSB President and CEO, Scott Huedepohl. “It’s interesting to see where they choose to invest their funds. We learn about organizations right here in our backyard that we may not have had the opportunity to learn about otherwise.”

Earlier this fall, Community State Bank staff were invited to choose a non-profit organization that inspires them and serves the communities of Racine, Kenosha, or Walworth counties. Staff were then encouraged to work creatively and share their inspiration with others in order to create a larger impact with their donations.

“This campaign is about collaboration. It’s about coming together to support a common cause. Our hope is that our support of the community inspires someone outside of our bank to do the same,” said CSB Media and Communications Director, Eloissa Heigl.

In addition to the bank provided funds, CSB agreed to match any personal employee donations up to $150. CSB’s Marketing Team will now document donation stories in the form of video, photography, or podcasts as staff hand delivers $16,590 in donations to support local causes in Southeast Wisconsin.

“Now comes the fun part,” said Huedepohl. “Over the next few months we’ll start sharing our team’s giving stories and where they have chosen to donate their funds. It’s a great campaign that means a lot to our organization and our community.”

To follow along, Community State Bank will begin sharing employee donation stories through their online blog and on social media: CSB.bank/gift2giving and using the hashtag, #Gift2Giving.

#Gift2Giving was created in 2018 and has supported over 67 non-profit organizations in Southeast Wisconsin. The campaign has provided over $90,000 in donations to support local non-profit organizations in Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth counties.
