#Gift2Giving - NAMI of Kenosha County

The Gift of Mental Health and Awareness

"I am happy to say that myself and 25 other CSB employees decided to donate our #Gift2Giving funds to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) of Kenosha County.

Recently, I had someone very near and dear to me get diagnosed with Severe Major Depression. Quite frankly I didn’t know much about mental illness prior to the diagnosis and have learned so much since! Unfortunately there is still a lot of stigma surrounding mental health and we as a society need to do better learning about mental health and helping those who suffer from a mental illness.

Mental illness is real and I understand a lot more about it today because of NAMI and their outstanding assistance and work in the community. Jack Rose and his team at NAMI of Kenosha County do an incredible job with helping people that have a mental illness or those who are supporting someone with a mental illness.

NAMI provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives. NAMI of Kenosha County not only has support groups for those suffering from mental illness they also have family support groups and peer support groups.

Please visit NAMI Online to learn more, contact their team or make a personal donation!"
